Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Theodor Geisel, better known to us as beloved author Dr. Seuss, was born on March 2, 1904 and passed away Sept. 24, 1991. In this time he penned more than 60 children’s books, including such treasured classics as The Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Green Eggs and Ham, and Horton Hears a Who!
Decades later his work is still being passed from generation to generation and inspiring a love of literature in children all over the globe. Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Closing for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The Wynnewood Public Library, along with City Hall, will be closed Mon. January 15th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume our normal hours on Tues. January 16th. We’d like to wish everyone a good weekend.

Closing for Christmas Holiday
The Wynnewood Public Library and City Hall will be closed Monday Dec. 25 and Tuesday Dec. 26 for Christmas. We will resume our normal hours Wednesday Dec. 27. We would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!
2nd Annual Christmas Parade & Chili Cookoff
Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017
Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017- Christmas Market will be set up in State Bank parking lot at 5:00
- Chili Cookoff will begin at 5:30
- Parade will start at 6:30 from WHS gym and will follow the same route as the homecoming parades
- Pictures with Santa will begin at 7:30 in the Eskridge Hotel
- Christmas message will be given at 8:00
- Cash and prizes will be drawn at 8:30 at the main stage
Closing for Thanksgiving Holiday
The Wynnewood Public Library, along with City Hall, will be closed for Thanksgiving starting Thursday Nov. 23. We will open and resume normal hours on Monday Nov. 27. We’d like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving weekend.
