Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

In this time he penned more than 60 children’s books, including such treasured classics as The Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Green Eggs and Ham, and Horton Hears a Who!

Decades later his work is still being passed from generation to generation and inspiring a love of literature in children all over the globe. Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss!

2nd Annual Christmas Parade & Chili Cookoff

  • Christmas Market will be set up in State Bank parking lot at 5:00
  • Chili Cookoff will begin at 5:30
  • Parade will start at 6:30 from WHS gym and will follow the same route as the homecoming parades
  • Pictures with Santa will begin at 7:30 in the Eskridge Hotel
  • Christmas message will be given at 8:00
  • Cash and prizes will be drawn at 8:30 at the main stage
